Place a new reference in a drawing model using the Create Drawing dialog OR
Place a new reference directly in a sheet model using Create Drawing dialog (with the Create Drawing Model check box turned off)

From the new saved view:
- camera position
- view attributes (if the Create Drawing dialog is initiated from the clip volume or from the Create Saved View tool)
- display styles (if the Create Drawing dialog is initiated from the clip volume or from the Create Saved View tool)
- clip volume
- view display
- reference view display
- reference display states.
From the drawing seed file’s attachment:
- attachment settings such as snap and use active annotation scale
- view attributes (if the Create Drawing dialog is initiated from a callout)
- display styles (if the Create Drawing dialog is initiated from a callout)
- use reference clipping
- synchronize view.
The Master:Ref scale is 1:1.

The camera position is Standard Top. From the new drawing model:

- reference display states.
From the drawing seed file’s attachment:
- attachment settings such as snap and use active annotation scale
- view attributes
- display styles
- use reference clipping.
- the Master:Ref scale is derived from the drawing seed file attachment’s detail scale that is set in the Create Drawing dialog.
