Surface Definition for Boundary Lines
The surface definition layer alternative editor for boundary lines is used to create various data sets for the surface characteristics of boundary lines. The following columns are available:

| ID | Displays the unique identifier for each element in the alternative. |
| Label | Displays the label for each element in the alternative. |
| Boundary Type | Specify how the boundary element is defined either: flow or elevation. |
| Boundary Elevation Type | Specify how the tailwater is defined. |
| Water Surface Elevation (Boundary) | Enter a value for the tailwater elevation along the boundary line. |
| Time-Elevation Curve | Set the variable time vs elevation curve. |
| Boundary Flow Type | Specify how to define surface inflow onto 2D surface grid. |
| Flow | Specify the constant inflow value to enter through the boundary element. |
| Hydrograph (Surface) | Specify the flow onto/leaving the calculation grid at the boundary element’s location. |
