Clips Tools
Clips are named regions that are used to restrict the display of the point cloud to enhance viewing. Clips can be used in boundary mode to isolate certain parts of the cloud. This aids in modeling as only the area of interest is displayed. Clips can also be used in mask mode to display all of the point cloud except the specified region. Mask mode aids in hybrid workflows where part of the cloud should not be displayed because a new 3D model is being integrated into the project.
Point cloud clips apply only to the selected point clouds. View clips apply to everything in the view.
