- Side
Selection – Sets the side to either connect shape or support plate.
- Positoin
Selection – Sets the web side of the shape to be connected (Left or
Right side), which is to be used for attaching the web plate. When Both sides
is selected, a plate is attached to both sides of the web.
- Thickness –
Sets the thickness to sheer plate.
- Vertical
Offset – Sets offset of the plate to the shape center.

Longitudinal Spacing

- Number – Sets
the number of bolts to be placed on the
X axis.
- Edge
Distance (w1) – Sets the distance from the start of the shape to
the center of the first bolt.
- Edge
Distance (w2) – Sets the distance from the end of the shape to the
center of the last bolt.
- Distance
Between (w3) – Sets the distance between the center of the bolts.
Note: Enabled
for more than one Number of bolts.
- Slot
Length – Sets the slot length.

Transverse Spacing
|
- Number – Sets
the number of bolts to be placed on the
Y axis.
- Edge
Distance (g1) – Sets the distance from the edge to the center of
the first bolt.
- Edge
Distance (g2) – Sets the distance between the center of the bolts.
- Distance
Between (g3) – Sets the distance between the center of the bolts.

Bolts

- Bolt
Type – Sets the bolt style from the drop-down list.
- Diameter – Sets
the hole diameter of the selected bolt from the drop-down list of bolt diameter
table.
- Workloose –
Sets the clearance between bolt and hole diameter.
- Additional
Length – Sets an additional length to the bolts extension outside
the nut.
- Turn – When
checked, the bolt direction is inverted. Available when not welded.
- Weld – When
checked, the shapes are welded, instead of bolting.
Note: When set
to Weld, disables the Bolts and Spacing settings.

Weld Settings
|
- Weld
Style – Displays the weld style to be used, one selected from the
drop-down list. The Weld option must be on to enable the Weld Style drop-down
list.
- Thickness –
Sets the value of the welding thickness of the style to create different
thicknesses with identical default settings

Options
|
- From
Edge – When checked, the vertical offset is measured from upper
edge shape to upper edge web plate. Enables next two settings.
- Lower
Edge – When checked, the vertical offset refers to the lower edge
of shape and web plate.
- Up to 1st
Bolt – When checked, the vertical offset doesn't refer to the edges
of the web plate but to the center of the first drill hole.
