Tree hierarchy:
Sub-surfaces such as the Rooflight tree object are hierarchically organized under exposed roof objects.
The Rooflight (surface) object, when selected, provides an entry point to the roof data on the Properties For: Rooflight dialog. Here, you can view basic surface data such as the surface category and sub-type (Rooflight) as well as dimensional data. There is also data related to Recess shading and Blind shading. The Rooflight´s Construction details are displayed in several sub-panels. The Rooflight has special properties related to its construction including a panel containing Glazing data. These special properties when manipulated, affect thermal and shading calculations and energy simulations that are performed on the project building.
