To Enter Port Values
You can define port values in several ways; one by connecting the wires and feeding the values to ports while working in graph view and the second by entering them through Node Properties dialog.
-
Select the node in graph view and hover pointer over the ports.
The value field for the highlighted port opens next to the pointer.
- Enter the values to set the ports directly or click on a port and extend the wire from it to connect it to a valid node at nodal port (black dot). The selected port is set.
-
Alternately, double-click the node you want to edit.
The Node Properties dialog opens. Besides the Technique, the dialog also contains Node Information and General sections about node.
- Find the property whose value you want to enter, such as YTranslation, and click in the value field. Using the keyboard, type a value. In this case, it needs a number.
- Press <Enter> when finished typing value.
-
Repeat the preceding step for the other ports, and when done, apply changes by clicking the control.
You will now see the ports defined for a given node in the view.
