Button Mappings Dialog
Used to indicate how you want to use the physical buttons on your mouse or digitizing tablet cursor. Each physical button (or button combination) can be mapped to a logical button, which performs an action.
Setting | Description |
---|---|
List box | Lists the logical buttons and the physical buttons or button combinations that invoke them. For example, in the default setup, the Reset logical button is invoked (that is, the Reset action occurs) when you click the right mouse button. To change a logical button's mapping, first you must select it in the list box. |
Button Definition Area | Once a logical button is selected in the list box
above, move your pointer to the Button Definition Area and press the physical
button or button combination that you want to use to invoke this logical
button.
You cannot map two logical buttons to the same physical button (or button combination). In other words, you cannot assign two different actions to the same physical button. For more information on remapping buttons, see Graphical Input. |
Defaults | Restores the button mappings to the system defaults. |
