Connecting to ArcGIS Server
The ArcGIS Connect dialog is used to establish a connection to ArcGIS Server. It can be opened directly from the Database Connection ribbon group.
User – The ArcGIS Server username
Password – The ArcGIS Server password
Server URL – The published address of the ArcGIS server. The data served by the URL is prepared and published by the owner of the database. This could be a Map Service with the Feature Services capability enabled, for example.
All that is required for many connections is the Server URL.
When defining a graphical source as an ArcGIS Server connection in OpenCities Geospatial Administrator, the Build Connection dialog provides additional options.
Connection Name – The name of the graphical source. This is reflected in the OpenCities Map interface.
