The Search Application function allows users to find the exact location of a group, program, file, and so forth located within a model.

1. Click on Search option in Tools drop-down.
   
   
   1. or Right-click in Application Editor canvas > View > Search
2. Search Application window will open
   
   
3. Type in Search box what you are looking for
   Tip: By using Exact Match, you can isolate the item to only look for exactly what is being typed and no other related find
4. Choose from filters in class types which components you wish to show by either selecting on them individually or selecting one of the three options: Select All Class Types, Clear All Class Types, and Invert Selected Class Types..
5. Result section will start showing results for string used in Filter box and applied Class Types
   
   
6. Click on any of the results > Go to Selected to navigate to specific instance in Application
   1. or Double-click on any of the results
