Create Virtual Node
Ribbon: Track > Rail Topology > Create Virtual Node
A virtual Node will divide an existing Topology Edge.
A Topology model is, for example, made up of:
Adding a Virtual Node to the Topology Edge in the example above will update the Topology by inserting the Virtual Node and divide the Edge:
The purpose of the Virtual Nodes is to make the Topology Routes shorter and therefore less overlapping Routes.

Setting | Description |
Feature Definition | The Virtual Node's Feature Definition. |
Name Prefix | The Virtual Node's name prefix which will be pre-pended with an incremented integer number. |
Station | The Virtual Node's station |
