Horizontal Geometry Report
Used to generate a report from selected civil horizontal geometry elements.
You can access this tool from the following:
Use the Horizontal Geometry Report to generate a report from selected civil horizontal geometry elements. The report contains coordinates, stationing, and other geometric data on the selected elements.
Workflow
1. Select the Horizontal Geometry Report tool.
2. Follow the heads-up prompts:
Prompt |
User Action |
Locate First Element |
Select a civil horizontal geometry element. |
Locate Next Element - Reset to Complete |
Continue selecting elements. Once all elements are selected, click RESET to move to the next prompt. |
Start Station |
Datapoint to define graphically. Alternately, key in station, ENTER, then datapoint to continue. |
End Station |
Datapoint to define graphically. Alternately, key in station, ENTER, then datapoint to continue. |
Interval |
Add additional points, called computed event points, to the XML report data file. If a value is greater than 0.0 in the key-in field, the software computes points along each Selected alignment. On each alignment, the computed points are separated by a distance equal to the specified Interval. The computed points are added to the XML report data file. |
Profile |
Select 'None' for the XML file which will include no profile data, 'Active Profile' which will only include the active profile for the alignment in the XML, 'All' which will include all profiles that are children of the alignment or "Selection' which will include the data for only those currently in a selection set. |
3. After the last prompt is completed, the Civil Report browser opens with the generated report. Note your report may look different depending on what report is selected as the default.
