Standards Checker Dialog
Used to run checks that compare the information in a DGN file against standards in DGN libraries (DGNLibs).

Setting | Description |
---|---|
Standards DGNLib | Specifies the DGNLib that contains the named settings for the standards checks. |
Settings Name | Specifies the named settings that are stored in the DGNLib. |
Check Levels | If on, the levels standards check is selected. Clicking the Settings button opens the Level Checker Settings dialog, which displays the settings for this check. |
Check Text Styles | If on, the text styles standards check is selected. Clicking the Settings button opens the Text Style Checker Settings dialog, which displays the settings for this check. |
Check Dimension Styles | If on, the dimension styles standards check is selected. Clicking the Settings button opens the Dimension Style Checker Settings dialog, which displays the settings for this check. |
Check Element Templates | If on, the element templates standards check is selected. Clicking the Settings button opens the Element Template Checker Settings dialog, which displays the settings for this check. |
Check Line Styles | If on, the line styles standards check is selected. Clicking the Settings button opens the Line Style Checker Settings dialog, which displays the settings for this check. |
Report File | If on, the results of the standards check are saved to an XML report file. The default name for a new XML file is displayed. You can use the browse icon to browse for an existing report file, or specify a new directory in which to save the XML file. The default location for the XML file is specified by the MS_STANDARDSCHECKER_OUT configuration variable. |

Named Group | If on, all elements that fail the standards check are added to the group whose name appears next to the check box. Only the Element Template Checker adds elements to the named group. You can view the results in the Named Groups dialog. |
Interactive | If on, once you click OK on the Standards Checker dialog, the interactive checking window opens. This window displays the status of the checking process opens. When the Standards Checker finds a difference from the standard, it displays a message that explains the difference between the values found and the standard values. For each difference, you can choose to fix, ignore, or skip the problem. If you choose to ignore a problem, the Standards Checker records the fact that the problem is ignored, the current user, and the time for later reference. |
Show Ignored Problems | If on, when the next interactive check is run, the check displays problems that were ignored in a previous standards check. If off, when the next interactive check is run, problems that were ignored in a previous check are not displayed. |
