Type
Sets the type of truss from different variations of
the framework. The
Type-1..Type-4 options define the
layout (parallel or alternating diagonals with or without intermediate studs).
Layout
Sets the side the bracing has to be carried out.
-
Both sides – Creates the truss shape on
both sides.
-
Left side – Creates the truss shape on
the
left side.
-
Right side – Creates the truss shape on
the
right side.
Length
Sets the complete length of the girder of the truss.
Height
Sets the height of the girder from bottom edge of
lower cord up to intersection of upper edges of upper cords in the middle (top
of roof ridge).
Roof angle
Sets the side angle of truss that adds roof slope of
upper cord.
Side height
Sets the height of the girder from bottom edge of
lower cord up to upper edge of upper cord measured on the sides. This value
remains constant, while the value in the height filed can change if you adjust
the pitch of the roof and vice versa.
Outer distance
Sets the distance of the axis of any existing
intermediary studs at the rim of the roof truss outer edge (represented with
the object frame). The distance of the connection shape to the end.
Inner distance
The distance of the axis of any existing
intermediary studs in the center of the roof truss centerline. The distance of
the inner connection shape to the center.
Segment distance
Sets the distance of the segments of the truss
girder (spacing of the girder junctions with parallel diagonals).
Segment count
Sets the number of inner vertical beams used as truss
girder segments.
Plate width
The spacing of the shapes in the depth. For example,
upper and lower cords are generated from two side-by-side (U-shaped) shapes.
Front side shapes centered
When checked, centers the front side shapes of the truss.
Back shapes centered
When checked, centers the back side shapes of the truss.
Dynamic
When checked, updates the changes to the truss dynamically in the
view.
