- Near – Clear
distance from the near (top) slab face to the bars.
- Far – Clear
distance from the far (bottom) slab face to the bars.
- Side – Clear
distance from the slab sides to the bars.

Levels
|
This section is used to specify the number of
layers for the trimmers.
If the
Number Of levels is 1, you can specify the
Insertion Face as Top, Bottom, or Middle.
If the number of layers is > 1, the layers will be spaced evenly from top to
bottom between the top/bottom covers.

Parallel
|
Set the option to add parallel bars around the
opening edges. Parallel bars are placed parallel to the sides of the slab
(edges).
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Start Anchor and
End Anchor lengths (end conditions can
also be specified). Start and End Anchors will be placed depending upon the
direction of the adjacent side of the slab.
Note: If
Corner bars are used, Start and End
Anchors are not necessary and are hidden.

Corner
|
Set the option to add bars at the corners of
rectangular or polygonal openings.
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Start Anchor and
End Anchor lengths (end conditions can
also be specified). Start and End Anchors will be placed depending upon the
direction of the adjacent side of the slab.

Perpendicular
|
Set the option to add bars perpendicular to and
wrapping the parallel bar layers.
Select the
Bar Size and then type values for
Spacing,
Start Anchor, and
End Anchor. Start and End Anchors will be
placed depending upon the direction of the near and far faces of the slab.
- Bar
Shape – Bar Shape designates the main body of the bar. Select as
U-Bar (e.g., ACI Type 17 or S10) or
Straight. If
U-Bar is selected, then type the
Start Anchor and
End Anchor lengths (end conditions can
also be specified).

Placement
|
- – Used to swap directional bars
plane. Eg: if horizontal bars are outside of vertical bars, the swap button
will cause the vertical bars to be outside of the horizontal bars.
- – Clicking this button displays
the previous segment of the current slab.
- – Clicking this button displays
the next segment of a the current slab.
