Upgrading generally requires upgrading both server and client
applications, except in releases that are
"client only" or
"server only".
Depending on the
version you are upgrading from, you may still be able to use your older client
with the new server, or your new client with an older server. For more
information, refer to the ProjectWise Version Support
Matrix guide.
Important: The version of
ProjectWise Administrator you use must be the
same version as the
ProjectWise Integration Server you are
connecting to.
Typically, all
ProjectWise servers in a
ProjectWise system must be of the same release
version, and should be upgraded at the same time, with the following
exceptions:
You may
temporarily use your existing
ProjectWise Caching Server from one
of the versions listed above against the new
ProjectWise Integration Server, until
such time that a
ProjectWise Caching Server upgrade
can be performed.
ProjectWise Web Server is no longer delivered or
supported.
If you need this feature, use the
ProjectWise Web or
ProjectWise Web View cloud services
instead.
All
ProjectWise applications on a single computer
must be of the same release version. For example, you cannot have applications
from both
ProjectWise 2023 and ProjectWise CONNECT
Edition Update 3.4 installed on the same computer.
