There three types of points that function when overlaying a 2D Grid: Reporting Point, Spot Elevation, and Void Point. The two adjustment points Void Point and Spot Elevation assist with the editing of individual grid cells in the 2D computational grid.

Placing a 2D Reporting Point atop the 2D Grid will cache results at the corresponding grid cell so that graphing is available at the discrete location after a simulation run.
