Restart Demand Model

It is now possible to restart a demand model from an existing travel scenario. This option makes it possible to avoid re-computing the first n model steps of a demand model. This is useful in cases where it is desirable to keep fixed the results of certain model steps.

To prepare a scenario for restart, first open a travel scenario and select one or more model steps from the Restart enabled model steps (optional) setting. These model steps represent the checkpoints from which the demand model may be restarted later. Next, click Run Demand Model. See illustration below.

Then, from a new travel scenario, make sure to select the scenario prepared with the checkpoints as above in the Input travel scenario (optional) setting, and optionally select one of the checkpoints in the Restart enabled model steps (optional).
